Adventure Canada

Come join me on an exciting new opportunity with Adventure Canada! This spring we'll set sail aboard the Ocean Endeavour for a floating photography workshop on the Greenland & Wild Labrador 2016 Expedition, June 29 – July 11, 2016.

This workshop will be limited to a small number of participants (10), enabling us to travel independently with our own Zodiac and naturalist to onshore locations, determined from a photographic viewpoint. We will also have a dedicated meeting room, ideal for slideshow viewing, onboard presentations and image review. Photographic fulfillment often requires time and the ability to "be still" with a subject matter. Our small group size and independence will enable us to experience this within the context of an extensive itinerary covering a large geographic terrain. Photographers of all abilities and stages are welcome!

There is no additional cost for this exclusive arrangement, in fact Adventure Canada is offering a 30% savings on berth cost until December 18, 2015! If you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible or I have the Adventure Canada brochure on my website. It has all the information!

Royal Canadian Geographic Society

I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been nominated into the College of Fellows of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society at this years Annual Dinner on November 18th. The society AGM, awards ceremony and dinner were held at the inspiring Museum of History in Ottawa/Gatineau. James Keelaghan performed Stan Rogers "Northwest Passage" and Canada's new Minister of Science, the honourable Kirsty Duncan raised joyous applause to the notion of elevating science to its rightful place in our society. Wade Davis gave an equally inspiring introduction to Margaret Atwood and Graeme Gibson, this year's Gold Medalists and Keynote Speakers.

The mandate of the RCGS is "to make Canada better known to Canadians and to the world". This is also my professional photography mandate, through a focus on Canadian Landscape imagery. I will strive more than ever to continue this mission, made possible through my association with Adventure Canada and my new connection with Canadian Geographic.

I'm excited to be exhibiting ten photographic fine art prints at Agora Gallery in New York City this January 2016. The prints represent the Canadian coastlines from West to East to North.

If you happen to be in the area, it would be a pleasure to see you at the opening reception! Or if you'd like to see my work for sale at the gallery, visit Art-Mine and type my name into the search box.
